Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Waterloo Cedar Falls

Hotel Manager Cindy went out of her way to see to it that a weary, middle aged motorcyclist had a place to stay (including the bike) while dodging scrappy weather. I would recommend this place highly to anyone staying in the area or passing through. A heartfelt THANK YOU for making this a special place!!

Very welcoming and in great condition. Andy the maintenance guy was very knowledgeable and full of customer service. All staff were well groomed and looked professional. By far the best Fairfield Inn by Marriott I have been to in years. Great job staff!!!!!

Everything met or exceeded expectations as far as cleanliness, amenities and location. We loved the comfortable touches such as extra condiments at the breakfast bar and ice water in the lobby that was always full. I wanted to take a moment and especially thank Brooklyn. We were in town for a funeral that happened to fall on my sister’s Birthday. I explained our situation to Brooklyn and asked if she had a random Birthday candle floating around behind the front desk anywhere, to put in my Sister’s Birthday breakfast. While they did not find a candle, they did put together a little Birthday care package for my Sister with some treats and a card from the staff. Brooklyn did not have to go out of her way to do this for us, but it was such a kind gesture that meant more to us than we could ever say and made our stay so much more memorable. What was just a little bag of goodies to Fairfield Inn and their staff, was like a comforting little nugget of happiness during a very challenging time for our family. Thank you Waterloo Fairfield!

Staff was friendly, room was clean and on the first night of my stay I was woken up around 5 in the morning due to something with an alarm on the top floor but when I called the front desk they quickly sent someone up to silence it and ensure everything was alright. Being woken up by a fluke issue isn't fun but technology isn't perfect and they were fast and friendly with getting it resolved so credit to them.

This location was immaculately clean. The room felt fresh, the linens were crisp, and even the high-traffic common areas were well-maintained. It’s the kind of environment that immediately lets you relax. Let’s talk about the continental breakfast. Usually, "continental" can be a hit or miss, but here it was awesome. It wasn't just a basket of muffins; they had a great variety of hot and cold options that were fresh and well-stocked. It’s the perfect fuel-up before a busy day in Cedar Falls. Consistency: Having stayed at other Marriott properties, I can say this one stands out for its attention to detail. Convenience: The location is perfect for navigating the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area, making it a great "home base" for business or leisure. Service: The staff was friendly and efficient, ensuring a seamless check-in and out process. A top-tier choice for the area. Between the cleanliness and the breakfast, you really can’t go wrong. I’ll definitely be booking here again the next time I’m in town!

Staff was so helpful and polite. The rooms were extremely clean and tidy. I forgot my shampoo and conditioner and was amazed that they offered IN SHOWER both along with body wash. I wouldn't usually use what they give you but I'm so glad I had. A.elled amazing and didn't dry out my hair or body I totally recommend trying if you get a chance to. They have a wide selection of liquor on hand along with different snacks and microwaveable dinners. Just over all a wonderful hotel I'd recommend to anyone.
